AURORA Hotel Collection will open its newest property, the Hotel Colessio in Stirling, in July after what is said to have been a “challenging” construction.
The company claims to have doubled its original investment in the hotel, committing almost £10 million to complete the project.
Located on the site of the former Stirling Royal Infirmary, Hotel Colessio will have 40 rooms, including three suites, a bar and restaurant, and a 300-capacity events suite.
Aurora founder and chief executive, Steven McLeod, said constructing the hotel “has been one of the most challenging projects I have ever worked on for a number of reasons”.
“As difficult as this has been, it will be all the more satisfying to see Colessio welcoming guests,” he said.
