TENNENT’S parent company C&C Group is strengthening its ties to live music with a new event for cider brand Magners.
Magners Summer Nights is one of the first events to be announced at the Bandstand in Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Park since its recent £2 million refurbishment.
The festival will take place over two weekends in August (7-10 and 14-16) and will feature a ‘Magners Village’ incorporating a cider garden and street food stalls.
The festival line up includes acts such as Squeeze, The Waterboys and Teenage Fanclub.
Paul Condron, marketing director for Magners Irish Cider, said he expects the festival to add to Glasgow’s “reputation for great music”.
