Hotel firm gets nod for charity

EDINBURGH-based Crerar Hotels has been shortlisted for the Johnson & Johnson Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the Scottish Business Awards 2014.

The hotel firm operates the Crerar Hotels Trust, a charity which is said to have provided around £5 million to local causes across Scotland and northern England.
Crerar Hotels chief executive Paddy Crerar said the firm was proud to be shortlisted for the award.
“Our business benefits incredibly from our positive corporate responsibility ethos,” said Crerar.
Winners will be announced at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on May 12.
