Largs cafe changes hands

THE Green Shutters Restaurant and Cafe in Largs has been sold by Smith & Clough Business Associates on behalf of the Nardini family.

The venue, which is said to have been trading for 100 years, has been owned and operated in recent times by cousins Claudio and Aldo Nardini.
Ayrshire resident Thomas Buskie will now take the reins at The Green Shutters.
Jonathan Clough of Smith & Clough said it was a pleasure to be involved in the sale of a “well-known and much-loved Largs institution”.
“As expected, we received high levels of interest in the sale, with the Green Shutters offering not only a fantastic lifestyle, but a tremendous business opportunity at the same time,” said Clough.
The business was sold from an asking price of offers over £95,000 for the leasehold going concern.
