Stuart McLean, CEO of the firm, highlighted the progress made through the firm’s own iZone Tables app, which he described as “a one-stop system” for publicans.
“iZone Tables can manage online, telephone and walk-in reservations, giving staff complete control and visibility of the dining process from sit down to payment,” said McLean.
Integrating the iZone app with Zonal’s Aztec EPOS system allows staff members to access iZone Tables using a computer, till or tablet device as well as inform customers their table is ready via SMS message.
McLean said full integration automatically synchronises data with no need to update table information in more than one place, “which saves time and avoids confusion”.
“It also improves the consumer experience and helps to build long-term loyalty, which is something all operators are striving for,” said McLean.
