THE firm behind Blackwoods gin has relaunched its vodka after revamping the recipe and packaging.
New Blackwoods Botanical Vodka is said to offer a “new depth of flavour” thanks to an infusion of the same Shetland botanicals used in the gin following distillation.
The vodka itself is distilled five times, which brand owner Blavod Drinks said creates “extra smoothness”.
Packaging for the 40% ABV vodka has been revamped and is said to reflect the colours of the Shetland landscape.
“We’re really excited about the new Blackwoods Botanical Vodka – the added depth from the bonification process gives it a really interesting taste you can’t find anywhere else and vodka drinkers can enjoy it neat,” said Kate Alexander, marketing manager at Blavod Drinks.
