GLASGOW coffee shop Offshore has changed hands in a deal brokered by Smith & Clough Business Associates.
The Gibson Street cafe, which had been on the market at offers over £80,000, has been trading since 1999, and new owner Elvira Hughes is said to be keen to retain the “laid back vibe” of the venue, which attracts a lot of business from nearby Glasgow University.
“The level of interest which we were able to generate was phenomenal with over 30 viewings and six offers received, which just goes to prove there is a lot of optimism in the Glasgow market,” said Smith & Clough director Jonathan Clough.
