BREWER Heineken is aiming to “light up the night” with the launch of a glow in the dark ‘club bottle’ for the beer brand.
Designed in collaboration with US artist Matt W. Moore, the Heineken club bottle is made from aluminium and features origami inspired graphics with green and blue ultraviolet colours that glow when exposed to black light.
The bottle, which was unveiled at Milan Design Week, was launched in the UK at an event at the Canary Wharf Ice Rink where Heineken teamed up with London steak restaurant Boisdale to create a dedicated Heineken VIP lounge.
Andrew Turner, category trade and marketing director at Heineken, said the launch of the club bottle was “another step along the way to making Heineken the UK’s number one premium lager”.
The aluminium bottle is to be rolled out to ‘top bars and clubs’ in major cities around the UK.
