THE coastal town of Helensburgh is set to gain a new curry house following the purchase of the former Assembly Lounge by the Masala Twist restaurant group.
The acquisition takes Masala Twist’s portfolio up to six units, including premises in East Kilbride and Glasgow’s west end.
Jonathan Clough, director of property firm Smith & Clough, who brokered the deal, said interest in the Helensburgh site had been “phenomenal”.
“I am delighted to have assisted the Masala Twist group take on their latest restaurant,” he said.
