A trace of buffalo as bourbons hit the UK

AMERICAN bourbon distillery Buffalo Trace has brought the latest batch of its Antique Collection whiskeys to the UK.

The range, released once a year, includes Eagle Rare 17 Year Old; George T. Stagg; Thomas H Handy Sazerac Rye; and William Larue Weller. It is distributed in the UK by Hi-Spirits.
“There is always high demand for our limited UK allocation of the 2013 Antique Collection, and we expect that to be higher than ever this year,” said Hi-Spirits managing director Dan Bolton.
This year saw the 240 year old Buffalo Trace distillery in Kentucky declared a US National Historic Landmark, while the Antique Collection was inducted into the Spirits Journal Hall of Fame.
