HEINEKEN has introduced a new range of draught dispense systems targeted at outlets without traditional beer cellars, or those looking for secondary or temporary draught sites.

The brewer said its SmartDispense system, which is available to Star Pubs & Bars lessees and Heineken’s free-trade customers, delivers consistently cold, clean pints while reducing energy costs and wastage.
“The new Heineken SmartDispense system encompasses a range of units that offer flexible dispense solutions to meet most requirements – irrespective of outlet size or turnover – and that’s especially true of bars with lower draught beer and cider volumes where the costs of running a traditional cellar often outweigh the return on investment,” said John Gemmell, trading director at Heineken North.
“We want to ensure that licensees can serve great quality draught beer and cider for all occasions, driving profits by maintaining the standard of serve and delivering the perfect pint every time. Heineken SmartDispense offers licensees throughout Scotland a simple and cost-effective way to consistently present customers with top quality, refreshing draught beer and cider.”
The SmartDispense range includes the Under Bar unit, which dispenses standard kegs of Heineken products, including Amstel, Tiger, Kronenbourg 1664 and Strongbow; the Integral and Integral+ units, which dispense Heineken or Birra Moretti from 20-litre containers; the Midi system, which can be stored up to ten metres away from the bar; and the Events unit, which is designed specifically for use at events.
