THE firm behind Jack Daniel’s has tipped its hat to legendary singer Frank Sinatra with the launch of a new special edition of the Tennessee whiskey.
Sinatra Select has been released to honour what is described as a “true and timeless relationship” between the singer and the brand.
The whiskey, selected from specially-designated ‘Sinatra barrels’, is said to have been created by exposing Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 to extra layers of toasted wood on the inner surface of the barrels. It is packaged in a limited edition box bearing Frank Sinatra’s signature and a fedora logo.
Ffion Jones, brand manager at Bacardi Brown-Forman Brands, said: “The perfect addition to any back-bar, new Sinatra Select has been launched to pay tribute to a long-standing friendship and is a must-have for any Jack Daniel’s enthusiast. Like Frank Sinatra himself, we believe the distinctive taste of our whiskey should be shared with friends and new acquaintances alike.
“However, with only a limited number of bottles available we advise fans to get theirs while stocks last.”
