THE firm behind Edinburgh Gin has launched a new Spiced Orange variant for autumn and winter.

Joining Edinburgh Gin’s existing raspberry and elderflower flavoured variants, Spiced Orange is described as an infusion of the spirit with fresh red oranges from Valencia which has “hints of cinnamon and spice”.
The new variant is said to be best-served neat or as a long drink with soda, or with Cava or Champagne.
The gin will be sold under a partnership distribution agreement between Spencerfield Spirit Company and Ian Macleod Distillers.
Spencerfield MD Alex Nicol said the new gin has a “flavour to match the season”. “The colour of Spiced Orange is a reminder of autumn leaves on the trees and the oranges give a hint of the cinnamon and spice flavours we all associate with this time of year,” said Nicol.
Neil Boyd of Ian Macleod Distillers said Spiced Orange is a “great addition” to the range.
