A NEW private dining experience on board The Royal Yacht Britannia has been launched.

Designed to showcase the luxury of the yacht, which served as the Queen’s residence at sea and is now docked at Leith, the Officers’ Wardroom package enables parties of eight to 18 to enjoy a six-course tasting menu, created by Britannia’s executive chef Mark Alston, inside the wardroom where Britannia’s top-ranked officers would have dined. The package also includes a drinks reception and a private guided tour of the vessel.
Andrew Thomson, head of hospitality and events for The Royal Yacht Britannia, said it aims to give an insight into how the royal family and crew lived and worked on board.
“We are delighted that Britannia can give smaller private parties such a special evening aboard the royal yacht,” he said.
