THE company behind an Italian sparkling wine and Prosecco brand is is aiming to help boost ‘by the glass’ sales in the on-trade with the launch of a new tap dispenser.
Frizzenti has introduced the tap, which is fed by 20-litre kegs under the bar, for its Classico and Rosato pink sparkling wines.
Frizzenti’s managing director, George Workman, said the tap is designed to help licensees capitalise on the “phenomenal growth” of Italian sparkling wines and deliver a “quick and perfect” pour.
“Prosecco is the world’s fastest growing sparkling wine with sales nearly doubling in the UK in the past year,” he said.
“Consumers are actively seeking out this iconic Italian sparkling wine so to satisfy demand licensees should ensure they provide a by the glass solution in addition to selling it by the bottle.”
