CHAMPAGNE GH Mumm has released its latest vintage, Millésime 2006.
A blend of 64% Pinot Noir and 36% Chardonnay, the wine was aged for five years in GH Mumm cellars prior to release.
It is said to contain notes of apricots, plums, pears and dried fruits.
Chef de cave Didier Marrioti described the new Champagne as “a vintage truly reflecting our style”.
He added that the blend of different grapes “gives the wine an extra versatility for matching with a wide range of foods from seafood to richer meat dishes”.
