The Hilton Dunkeld House hotel in Perthshire has appointed a new head chef.
Raymond Sterpaio, a 20-year veteran of the catering industry, has taken up the role of head chef at the hotel’s Garden Restaurant, which overlooks the River Tay. He has previously worked at Mains Castle in Dundee and The Fairmont in St Andrews.
In his new role at Hilton Dunkeld House, Sterpaio will be responsible for training commis chefs and apprentices.
“Raymond has a fantastic reputation within the industry and will manage an excellent team of individuals at the Garden Restaurant,” said Mike Metcalfe, general manager at Hilton Dunkeld House.
“His previous experience, enthusiasm and aptitude mean he will be a great addition to the food and beverage team here at the hotel.”
