Buyer snaps up Kingfisher pub

The Kingfisher in Cumbernauld has changed hands.

The Kingfisher public house in Cumbernauld is in new hands after being sold by former owner the Spirit Group.
The property was sold to an unnamed bar and restaurant operator from an asking price of £225,000.
Alan Creevy, director at CDLH, who handled the sale on behalf of Spirit Group, said the venue had been placed on the market late last year as it was “non-core to Spirit’s operation”. He added that the property had attracted “a good level of interest”.
“The property is on a large site of just over one acre and our marketing covered not only the licensed market but also the development market,” said Creevy.
