DRINKS giant Diageo has installed new copper stills at its Linkwood and Mannochmore distilleries as part of its five-year whisky investment plan.
The Johnnie Walker and Talisker owner said its Alloa-based coppersmith business, Abercrombie, has worked on more than 30 copper stills in the past year as it continues to expand its production facilities.
The Abercrombie team is currently working on stills for the expansion of Glen Ord distillery in the Highlands.
