A CATERING company boss went back to school last week to talk to pupils about healthy eating.
Graham Box, managing director of Sodexo Prestige in Scotland, joined a team of five volunteers from the company for the visit to Eastbank Academy in Glasgow to talk to pupils about healthy living.
The visit was the result of a four-year partnership between outdoor learning educational charity The Outward Bound Trust and Sodexo Prestige.
Box said the event gave him the opportunity to discuss the benefits of a healthier lifestyle with pupils.
“It was also heartening to see the genuine interest of the pupils,” he said. “It is evident they want to know more about locally-sourced produce and are aware of environmental issues.”
