Established hotel business in Aviemore up for sale
AN established hotel in the Scottish ski resort of Aviemore has come on to the market.
International Starters is said to have been extensively refurbished by the current owners.
The hotel has 12 letting bedrooms, a bar, restaurant and function suite; there’s also a private dining/conference room and extensive gardens.
Although Aviemore is best known for its skiing, the Highland village is said to attract visitors throughout the year and offers a range of outdoor activities, including country walks, fishing and golf.
Gordon Mair of selling agent Cornerstone said the business attracts a mixture of local and tourist business.
The hotel benefits from local and tourist trade.
“The cuisine offers something a little different, concentrating on a tapas-style dining experience which is split into four sections consisting of Mediterranean, Asian, American and Scottish cuisine,” he said. “Food is served in the modern extended bar and restaurant, which has views overlooking the hotel’s gardens.
“The letting bedrooms are generating good occupancy levels throughout the year with all having en suite facilities.
“Over recent years the owners have made a substantial investment in the business, extending the property and fitting it out to a very high standard.”
International Starters is on the market with an asking price of £750,000.
