THE craft beer sector in the UK is going from strength to strength, according to a new report from the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA).
The Local Beer Report, published last week, said production by independent brewers was up 6.8% last year, with further growth of 5.6% forecast for 2013.
SIBA chairman Keith Bott said: “This is an industry of achievement and success and I am one among thousands who are immensely proud to be in it.”
