ALMOST £100,000 was raised for licensed trade charity the Ben as a record 1007 guests attended the annual dinner in the Glasgow Thistle hotel earlier this month.
President Ken McGown, operations and sales director north for Star Pubs & Bars, said demand for tickets to this year’s event reached an all-time high.
The prize draw, which featured a Citroen C1 car donated by Star Pubs & Bars parent company Heineken as the top prize, generated more than £18,000.
“We really appreciate the continued support, particularly in these tough times,” said Ben chief executive Chris Gardner.
