A NEW app to help consumers find stockists of Mexican beer Corona Extra has been launched.
Designed to bring the “fun of a Cancun beach to Britain’s chillier shores”, the app allows consumers to find the nearest pub or club which stocks Corona; it also features an augmented reality (AR) game, which allows consumers to play a 3D beach volleyball game by pointing an AR-enabled phone at a bottle of Corona.
Senior brand manager Simon Pick said the app is designed to appeal to Corona’s target market of young adults.
