THE manager of a Glasgow hotel has asked its customers to come up with a new cocktail to feature on the drinks list.
Launched to mark the refurbishment of the Jurys Inn hotel on Jamaica Street, the Jurys’ Jocktail Challenge invites people to submit a recipe for a cocktail which “captures the spirit of Glasgow”. The winner will receive a cocktail masterclass for six and a spot on the new drinks list at the hotel’s revamped Grill Bar.
“We want our signature drink to be unique and to have a distinct Scottish edge,” said GM Barry Rowland.
