JB Foods, the Loanhead-based catering wholesaler, has expanded its commercial fleet with the acquisition of three new trucks.
As well as state-of-the-art refrigeration and temperature-monitoring technology, the new vehicles also feature branding for Haagen-Dazs, marking the first time that JB Foods has run brand advertising on its fleet.
JB Foods replaces its trucks every five years, a system that it claims has led to cuts in both its carbon emissions and fuel costs.
A statement from the family-owned company said: “These trucks mark a substantial investment for JB Foods and cement the company’s position as one of Scotland’s leading independent catering wholesalers.”
