UK catering equipment manufacturer Lincat has taken on full responsibility for the design, manufacture, technical support, sales and marketing of FriFri high specification electric fryers.
The FriFri business was transferred to Lincoln-based Lincat, from its current base in Italy, as from August 1, 2012.
Though currently not widely known in the UK, FriFri fryers are recognised throughout the rest of the world for their extremely high specification.
They offer maximum output from a minimum of floor space and extend the life of cooking oil. They are also rated highly for their robust construction and reliable operation.
The FriFri range includes freestanding, built-in and counter-top models, together with a wide collection of associated products.
“It’s a huge vote in confidence, not just in our design and manufacturing skills but also in our sales, marketing and after-sales support, that our parent company, the Middleby Corporation, has decided to move its multi-million pound FriFri business to Lincat,” said Steve Mitchell, managing director of Lincat.
