Prosecco bar pops up in Paperino’s

AN Italian restaurant in Glasgow’s west end has launched a new Prosecco bar.

The Fantinel Prosecco bar at Paperino’s West End on Byres Road takes its name from a family-owned Italian wine and spirits company based in Friuli, which produces DOC Prosecco.
Paperino’s owner Stefano Giovanazzi said the new bar represents a “considerable” investment.
“The opening of our Prosecco bar sets a new benchmark that elevates Glasgow’s food and drink scene to a level where it can compete alongside the cosmopolitan capitals of the world,” he said.
