THE new owner of McEwan’s ale has appointed a new sales manager for Scotland and the north east of England.
Wells & Young’s, which acquired McEwan’s and Younger’s from Heineken last year, appointed ex-Tennent’s man Ian Risby to the role as it seeks to drive sales and distribution of the brands. Risby heads a new team of regional sales executives tasked with supporting existing customers and developing listings for the Wells & Young’s portfolio. The team includes Ken McDade (east), Pat Canavan (central) and national account manager David Mee.
