SCOTTISH & Newcastle Pub Enterprises wants to help lessees sell more premium packaged lagers.

The pubco insists tenants can add up to ÂŁ2000 to annual profits by treating bottled beers with the same care as cask ale or wine.
It’s launched a package that encourages staff to sell more PPLs by using tasting notes, menus and professional merchandising of the pub and fridge space.
