A MOFFAT hotel is on the market with a reduced asking price.
Due to the current owner’s other business interests outside the licensed trade, the Buccleuch Arms Hotel, which was originally put on the market confidentially, is now being marketed with a reduced price tag of offers in the region of £680,000.
Dating from 1760, the former coaching inn has 16 letting bedrooms, three bars, a lounge, function room, board room and restaurant; there’s also two-bedroom owner’s accommodation.
“My clients understand the current market conditions and, due to other business interests outside the licensed trade, they have decided to market the hotel completely openly at a price they hope will generate significant interest from the outset,” said Christie & Co’s Graeme Smith, who is handling the sale.
