Guide takes the tablet

DINERS can now access one of the most established guides to eating out in the UK in e-book format.

The Good Food Guide can now be downloaded to devices like tablet computers in what marks the publication’s first foray into e-books.
The move follows what is said to have been the successful launch of an app for the guide.
The e-book includes reviews of more than 1300 restaurants, alongside ‘unique’ functions said to make it even easier and speedier for consumers to find a great place to eat.
Other features include full-colour, zoomable maps and a search function, all of which are designed to help the user easily navigate the e-book and find a restaurant anywhere in the country. The e-book can be downloaded from the iBookstore.
