LIQUEUR brand Sourz has launched a limited edition summer variant.
Available to the on and off-trades ahead of this summer’s Diamond Jubilee and Olympics, Sourz Spirited Summer Berry comes in a bottle featuring a Union Jack design.
“We’re really excited to be marking this Great British year with our new summer limited edition,” said Eileen Livingston, marketing controller for Sourz at Maxxium UK.
“With its Spirited Summer Berry flavour and edgy ‘Brit Pack’ design, it’s the perfect way to help consumers celebrate a unique summer in 2012.”
The launch of the new limited edition flavour is part of a claimed £10 million spend on the Sourz brand over the summer months.
Other activity includes the ‘sorted 4 summer’ marketing campaign, which will include TV and radio ads and activity at live music festivals.
Maxxium has also joined forces with supermarket giant Asda to provide a separate and exclusive limited edition flavour to be chosen by consumers.
Sourz drinkers can vote for Spirited Melon, Spirited Mango or Spirited Orange via the brand’s Facebook page; the winning variant will be introduced exclusively in Asda stores later in the year.
