Cocktails set to bee success

WEMYSS Malts has launched two bespoke cocktails for its newest blended malt.

Created as part of its ongoing collaboration with Edinburgh mixologist Jason Scott, co-owner of capital bars Bramble and The Saint, the two drinks are said to have been designed around the “honeyed sweetness” of The Hive.
The Hive Five Mojito combines the whisky with fresh lime juice, mint leaves, orange blossom honey and ginger ale, while Hive and Seek includes The Hive, Campari, fresh lemon juice and saffron honey.
Scott said the drinks aim to “accentuate and complement” the whisky.
“Hopefully they will be enjoyed many times over,” he said.
Wemyss Malts director William Wemyss said: “We’ve had an excellent response to The Hive and these cocktails will offer an exciting new dimension for all our customers.”
Wemyss Malts blended malt range comprises The Spice King, The Peat Chimney and The Hive. Its recent single cask malts include Winter Spice, Lemon Grove and Whispering Smoke.
