A VILLAGE inn located just over the border in England has come up for sale.
The Fishers Arms, located in the northerly village of Horncliffe, has an open-plan bar and dining area with beamed ceiling and fireplace, as well as a separate dining/meeting room. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, which could be used as owner’s or bed and breakfast accommodation.
Gordon Mair, director of selling agent Cornerstone, said: “Although a small village there are numerous activities and societies which regularly meet at the inn and new owners may wish also to consider the possibility of offering retail sales, such as groceries, which would boost turnover and profits further.”
The pub has a guide price of £205,000.
