Ben to remember “Mr Guinness” at Gleneagles

Posted on by in News

TRADE charity The Ben will pay tribute to late director Gordon Millar, known affectionately as “Mr Guinness” from his Diageo days, with a new golf day at Gleneagles.

The Ben Gordon Millar Memorial Event, which will take place on May 29, has been made possible thanks to a bequest to The Ben by Gordon’s widow Sandra. It will raise funds for the development of the charity’s Pitlochry estate, where 18 of its beneficiaries live.
The price for a fourball, which includes a round on Gleneagles’ PGA Centenary Course, breakfast and a two-course lunch is £750, though an early bird price of £700 is available before April 27. A special spa package is also available for non-playing partners, priced £120. For info visit www.bensoc.org.uk
