Wetherspoon helps raise cash for CLIC

PUB chain JD Wetherspoon has raised £5 million for CLIC Sargent since forming an alliance with the children’s cancer charity in 2002.
Wetherspoon founder Tim Martin said he is “delighted” by the company’s fundraising efforts so far, and before Christmas revealed the firm will aim to raise “many more millions in the coming years”.
CLIC Sargent’s fundraising campaign manager, India Lawton, added: “We are thrilled Wetherspoon has reached this milestone and appreciate their continued support for the work that we do.”
