A CELEBRATORY dinner was held late last month to mark the refurbishment of the Macdonald Inchyra at Falkirk.

Some £4 million is said to have been sunk into the refit of the 98-bedroom hotel, with improvements made to its conference and business facilities and a new health club and spa created.
A charity dinner, held in aid of the Duncan Hospital Charitable Trust and the Strathcarron Hospice, was held to mark the project’s completion, and raised more than £39,000.
Macdonald chairman Donald Macdonald, who hosted the evening with Bruce Crawford MSP, said the hotel’s redevelopment “is a further reflection of our firm commitment to provide discerning leisure, business and conference guests with the highest standards of product and service”.
