A CELEBRATORY dinner was held late last month to mark the refurbishment of the Macdonald Inchyra at Falkirk.
Some ÂŁ4 million is said to have been sunk into the refit of the 98-bedroom hotel, with improvements made to its conference and business facilities and a new health club and spa created.
A charity dinner, held in aid of the Duncan Hospital Charitable Trust and the Strathcarron Hospice, was held to mark the project’s completion, and raised more than £39,000.
Macdonald chairman Donald Macdonald, who hosted the evening with Bruce Crawford MSP, said the hotel’s redevelopment “is a further reflection of our firm commitment to provide discerning leisure, business and conference guests with the highest standards of product and service”.
