SCOTLAND has been chosen as the UK launchpad for Danish liqueur brand Fisk.

Pitched at young adults, Fisk is said to be best served as a shot or in a ‘Fisk Bomb’, with Red Bull.
KC Brands, which is distributing Fisk for owner United Brands, is visiting bars and clubs across Scotland to encourage the trade to trial the product, which is listed by cash and carry Bellevue.
United Drinks has also launched an ‘ice shot’ machine, which ensures the 30% ABV liqueur is served at the optimum temperature of -13ºC; branded glassware is also available from KC Brands.
Thomas Anthon, managing director of United Drinks, said he expects the liqueur to sell well in Scotland.
“Like in other markets we are expecting some very good sales of Fisk during the autumn and winter/Christmas season and we believe that in the near future Fisk will be a brand important to our clients, giving them extra sales and profits,” he said.
Fisk was first launched in Denmark in 1999 and is exported to a number of countries, including Germany, Spain, France, Thailand and the Baltic nations.
