KEEN anglers might be interested in Torwood House Hotel, which has just come onto the books of agent Cornerstone.

Located between Newton Stewart and Stranraer in the south west of Scotland, the hotel is set in 36 acres of grounds, which contain three coarse fishing lochs.
The property itself has eight letting bedrooms and there is planning permission for 12 chalets in the grounds.
“Torwood House Hotel is set in a beautiful rural location and is ideal for somebody with entrepreneurial spirit,” said Gordon Mair, a director of Cornerstone Business Agents.
“The main property of Torwood House is currently trading on a very low-key basis with most income coming from the bar. However, if the house was renovated, it could offer fantastic income from rooms.”
Torwood House Hotel, including the chalet development, 36 acres and three coarse fishing ponds, is on the market with a guide price of £475,000 freehold.
