Savanna takes to the airwaves


SOUTH African cider brand Savanna is giving consumers the chance to win a trip to its homeland as part of a new radio ad campaign.

The on-air competition on Kiss FM is offering a trip to Cape Town for the winner and three friends. Consumers are invited to enter a random draw on the dedicated Savanna Cider promotional page on the Kiss website to be in with a chance of taking part in an on-air competition during prime-time shows, when they will be quizzed on their Facebook friendships.
Themed around Savanna’s ‘now available at your local watering hole’ strapline, the campaign is being pitched at 18 to 34 year olds. “We’re very excited about this promotion and the opportunity to engage with consumers,” said Anthony Mills, Savanna’s head of marketing. “We are investing significantly in the brand this year and are very confident that Savanna’s popularity will continue to increase and retailer sales grow.”
