NEW owners are being sought for a hotel in the Ayrshire village of Mauchline.
The Fairburn Hotel, which is close to the centre of the village, has been placed on the market for ÂŁ375,000. The property was revamped in recent years and now includes a bar, restaurant, and function/conference facilities that can cater to 70 people, as well as a beer terrace and garden.
The Fairburn is at the heart of the village.
In addition to the commercial space, the property also contains a four-bedroom family flat. The sale is being handled by property agent Colliers International. Mauchline, which is nine miles from Kilmarnock, is said to be one of the Ayrshire villages that was home to Robert Burns during his life.
