Package aims to help operators drive profits

THE firm behind pub information system iDraught has launched a range of new online services designed to help operators drive more profit from draught beer.

The new business-building package, part of iDraught’s revamped website, features training programmes, retailing hints and tips, and advice to help operators trouble shoot common problems. Online resources include a cellar cooling guide, advice on line cleaning and information on beer temperatures.
The site www.iDraught.com also features a benefit calculator showing how much operators can expect to save by adopting the system.
Designed to help licensees get the most return from draught products, the iDraught system, from beer-flow monitoring firm Brulines, aims to help operators improve the quality of beer served in their outlet, improve margins and cut operating costs by reducing wastage. The system is said to ensure draught products are delivered at the correct temperature, line cleaning is carried out effectively and dispense equipment is performing effectively; it monitors the cellar cooler and can be set up to trigger an alarm if cellar equipment fails.
Licensees who subscribe can log in and track bar sales, volumes and levels of waste in real time, remotely or from the premises; stats relating to beer quality, including temperature and levels of throughput, are also accessible.
Sales director Steve Alton said operators can use the trading information to guide staffing levels and establish the most profitable range of products to stock.
“We believe that iDraught is just about the best investment a licensee or pub operator can make right now, and our customers agree,” he said.
“Alongside the new training packages, the easy-to-use website shows really clearly all the ways that iDraught can help licensees drive their businesses forward.”
