New sauces offer taste of Italy

THE producer behind a range of Indian curry sauces aims to introduce a taste of Italy with its latest range

Two pasta sauces (Rich Bolognese with a hint of red wine and Spicy Arrabbiata with roasted garlic) and two bake-in-the-oven risotto sauces (Risotto alla Primavera with asparagus, lemon and mint and Risotto al Funghi with porcini mushrooms) have been added to Meena’s five-strong range of Indian products. Face of the brand Meena Pathak said the new range was inspired by her travels in Italy. “I’ve had the privilege of getting to meet some of Italy’s finest suppliers, sommeliers, chefs and passionate cooks on my travels – all of whom have inspired my range,” she said. “If people taste my sauces and feel like they are in Italy, then all my hard work has paid off.”
