A HIGHLAND inn with its own “monster spotting point” has come on to the market.

Located on the shores of Loch Ness, the Dores Inn is said to be listed in the Lonely Planet travel guide as one of 50 “undiscovered and overlooked” destinations in Europe.
The business comprises a bar area and a bistro-style restaurant specialising in Scottish produce.

The sale provides a fantastic opportunity to purchase a successful bar and restaurant.

Selling agent Strutt & Parker said the property has been extensively upgraded and redecorated and has a “spectacular” beer garden looking on to Loch Ness.
The sellers also own a cottage adjacent to the inn which, Strutt & Parker said, could be available by separate negotiation.
Euan MacCrimmon of Strutt & Parker in Inverness, which is marketing the inn with a price tag of offers over £750,000, said the business benefits from both local and tourist trade.
“The sale of the Dores Inn provides a fantastic opportunity to purchase a successful bar and restaurant located on the shores of the iconic Loch Ness,” he said. “The business has been trading extremely well over the past five years and there remains real potential to expand the business and take advantage of its highly scenic position with loch frontage and its close proximity to the popular city of Inverness.”
