South Queensferry’s hospitality star has been on the rise in recent years, with a rash of casual dining restaurants colonising the distinctive coastline beneath the three Firth of Forth bridges, serving the influx of young families moving into the area’s extensive housing developments.
A slice of that coastline action is now available as Graham + Sibbald, acting jointly with Christie & Co, bring The Railbridge Bar & Bistro to the market.
This well-established bistro-bar under the Forth Bridge has ‘enviable’ views across the Firth of Forth, and is readily accessible both locally and from Edinburgh city centre, with a reportedly loyal customer base and an excellent local reputation.
The business is said to have been successfully operated by its current owner, Merchant Leisure, which is now looking to concentrate on the development of its hospitality operations in Edinburgh city centre.
Graham + Sibbald’s Alistair Letham said: “The availability of The Railbridge Bar & Bistro presents a fantastic opportunity to purchase a well-established and highly regarded business enjoying strong levels of repeat custom and regular footfall.”
Christie & Co ‘s Simon Watson added: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Graham & Sibbald to bring The Railbridge to market. With South Queensferry continuing to be one of Edinburgh’s most sought‑after destinations, we anticipate strong interest right from launch. If you’d like to learn more, we’d be delighted to hear from you.”
The two firms are inviting offers over £1,950,000 for The Railbridge Bar & Bistro.
