Everyone loves whisky sampling!

There’s just one month to go until the return of The Stirling Whisky Festival, which is scheduled for Saturday 10th May.

Now in its fourteenth year and hosted by the award-winning Stirling Distillery, visitors to the festival can expect a strong line-up of distilleries, exclusive tastings, masterclasses, and the chance to meet the people behind the spirits.

From Highland single malts to island treasures and lowland gems, the SWF offers the chance to sample a wide range of Scotch whisky, all under one roof in the heart of Stirling’s Old Town.

Among the highlights will be whiskies from Rosebank Distillery, which reopened its doors in June 2024 after over 30 years dormant, and whiskies from its sister distilleries Glengoyne and Tamdhu.

Other brands attending are Arran, Lagg, Lindores, the Scotch Malt Whisky Society and Wolfburn. A full list of attendees can be found on the event’s website.

SWF visitors will be able to chat directly with the makers, learn the stories behind each dram, and take part in expert-led masterclasses throughout the day.

Those looking to stay the night can take advantage of an exclusive festival rate at the event venue, the Stirling Highland Hotel.

Established in 2012, The Stirling Whisky Festival is part of Stirling SpiritFEST.
