Brooklyn Brewery has announced the listing of its Stonewall Inn IPA across 35 All Bar One locations in the UK.
The listing is the latest product of the collaboration between the Brooklyn Brewery brand, managed by Carlsberg Britvic in the UK, and Mitchells & Butlers, national operator of All Bar One.
This slightly hazy 4.3% ABV IPA, with ‘bold grapefruit and bright citrus peel’ notes, was first brewed in 2017 by Brooklyn Brewery’s Garrett Oliver at the request of the owners of New York City’s Stonewall Inn, which has long been a focal point in the campaign for LGBTQ+ rights.
As well as paying homage to Stonewall’s civil rights legacy, the beer also marked the launch of its official charity of SIGBI – the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative – which works with LGBTQ+ communities globally.
Stonewall Inn IPA’s listing at All Bar One builds on its successful 2024 introduction to the UK, where it is said to have ‘already captivated drinkers with its exceptional flavour and meaningful story’.
Operations director at All Bar One, Linda Elliot, said: “We’re excited about working with the team at Brooklyn Brewery and can’t wait to see their delicious grapefruit and bright citrus peel Stonewall Inn IPA land in All Bar One venues up and down the country.
“We’re really proud of our drinks range, and this brand aligns perfectly with our values while supporting a cause close to our hearts. We can’t think of a better addition to enhance our draught selection for guests.”
Director of marketing for ales & craft at Carlsberg Britvic, Jo Marshall, added: “We’re so proud and excited to be able to work with the team at Mitchells and Butlers with Stonewall Inn IPA.
“It’s a delicious IPA from Brooklyn Brewery that supports a great cause. It’s a beer for everyone to enjoy and perfect for the All Bar One venues. This new listing builds on the incredible work and support that the Castle and Nicholson’s outlets have given the brand.
“It’s so much fun and the management and team have been really proactive both in their business and across social channels too.”
