Buyer sought for luxury hotel in ‘remote yet accessible’ Kinloch Rannoch

A luxury hotel in Highland Perthshire has come onto the books of Graham + Sibbald.

Dunalastair Hotel Suites in Kinloch Rannoch has its origins as an 18th century drovers inn, but the current building was constructed in the late Victorian period.

More recently, extensive investment and refurbishment has transformed the property into a luxury hotel that includes a lobby lounge, lounge bar and restaurant that overlooks the hotel’s sheltered inner courtyard, a first-floor library lounge and meeting room and 32 bedroom suites.

Situated close to Loch Rannoch, the hotel is said to be close to a range of popular visitor attractions including Ben Lawers, Loch Tay, Loch Tummel and Rannoch Moor.

The famous West Highland Railway can be accessed from the nearby Rannoch Station – an historic location in its own right, which has served the local area for over a century.

The village of Kinloch Rannoch itself is also steeped in history, with a settlement traced as far back as 500AD.

“Dunalastair Hotel Suites’ availability for sale is a superb opportunity for purchasers to acquire a well-established 5-star style business in a popular visitor and leisure location,” said Alistair Letham, a hotel and leisure consultant at Graham + Sibbald.

“Kinloch Rannoch is beautifully remote and yet very accessible, being only a 15-mile drive from the main A9 road.”

Offers around £3,250,000 are being sought for the hotel.
