There’s an opportunity to buy a ‘truly exceptional’ hotel, restaurant and cocktail bar in the Scottish Borders.
The Capon Tree Town House in Jedburgh is described by selling agent Bruce & Co as ‘an excellent business opportunity in a superb location’.
It includes three en suite letting bedrooms, a two AA-Rosette restaurant, a wine and cocktail bar and one-bedroom owner’s accommodation.
The bar has capacity for 70 people, with a further 40 able to be seated in the dining area.
The three letting bedrooms are all said to be kitted out to a high standard, with facilities including flatscreen TVs and free wifi.
“With a great reputation including a 4.5 rating on Tripadvisor, The Capon Tree Town House is a truly turnkey business opportunity which would appeal both to an experienced operator or someone looking to take over an already successful business in the hospitality trade,” said Bruce & Co.
Jedburgh is located just ten miles north of the border with England and subsequently attracts visitors from both sides of the border, who flock to the town for its wealth of history as well as outdoor activities including golf, cycling and horse riding.
The Capon Tree Town House is on the market with an asking price of £599,950.
The hotel isn’t the only property Bruce & Co is currently promoting.
Further north, in Edinburgh, the company is marketing the lease to city centre unit the Union of Genius café.
The small café, which has seating for 15 covers, has been conceived as an ethical business selling freshly-prepared food. Its turnover is said to have increased year-on-year and it is described as ‘a fantastic opportunity to purchase a ready-to-go business with a great base to build upon’.
Bruce & Co is seeking £45,000 for the lease.
